# Rewards, referrals and relief

The **Rewards** page gathers what the site can pay you or owes you: holder rewards, creator fees, points, referrals and relief. Each has its own rules. None of them is a promise of income.

## Your rewards

Signed in, the first card reads from the token contracts and shows two things. You claim with your own wallet; nothing is approved and nothing is sent in.

**Holder rewards.** One row for each token in your wallet that pays its holders: the token, what it pays in, the amount you can claim now, and **Claim**.

- A token pays holders only if its launch set a holders share. Many do not.
- Rewards come from that token's trading fees. No trading, no rewards.
- You can claim any time. A share you earned stays yours even if you have since sold the token.
- Some earlier tokens deliver rewards on HyperCore. "Activate HyperCore rewards" in the account menu opens the Hyperliquid account they need.

**Creator fees.** If you launched a token that pays its creator: what is owed, what you have taken, and **Claim**.

How holder rewards work for each launch type: [Signal v4](signal-v4.md#who-gets-it), [spot rewards](spot-rewards.md) on earlier launches, [perp rewards](perp-rewards.md) where a launch chose them.

On a Signal v4 token's own page, "N in fees waiting to be divided" with **Pay out now** divides the fees that have collected, by the token's own split. Anyone can press it.

## Points

Points are a weekly tally. Each week's points are split by the fee volume you bring and the Signal launches you hold. You need a claimed @name to earn them, and you keep every week you earned.

**Points do not pay out yet.** The page says "Payouts start soon". What a point will be worth has not been published. Do not trade for points on the assumption of a value.

The points board on the Rewards page is separate from the trading [leaderboard](signals.md#the-leaderboard).

## Referrals

Create one code per wallet (it needs a claimed @name) and share your link, `signal.family/?r=<code>`.

- You earn **10% of the launchpad fees your friends pay**, in HYPE.
- It is sent to your wallet **every day at 12:05 UTC**. There is nothing to claim. A balance under 0.01 HYPE rolls over to the next day.
- A code counts once per newcomer, within a day of their first trade, and never your own.

One limit to know: the referral share is counted on the fees of tokens launched through Signal's earlier (Classic) pad. Trades in Signal v4 pools are not counted toward it today.

## Relief

If you end an hour down trading on signal.family, part of Protocol Echo's $SIGNAL comes back to you.

- Signal tallies what each wallet **sold at a loss**, on tokens launched on Signal, through signal.family. Open positions do not count.
- A tenth of every [Protocol Echo](echo.md#protocol-echo) buy lands in the relief wallet as $SIGNAL and is split across those wallets in proportion to the loss, never more than the loss.
- It is sent by the Signal team with a receipt. There is nothing to claim.
- It covers trades placed through signal.family. Trades routed elsewhere, contracts, the protocol's own wallets and wallets trading against each other are left out, and the relief page says why for any wallet you look up.

Relief depends on Protocol Echo running and on the team continuing to send it. It softens a loss; it does not insure against one.

## Where the numbers come from

**Revenue** (in the footer) shows volume on Signal launches, the fees they produced and where those fees went: paid to holders, burned, kept by creators, allocated to the protocol. Every figure labelled "paid" comes from payment receipts on chain. Money owed is not shown as money paid.
