Support
Signal Family, by the team that runs signal.family
Contact us
- Email: support@signal.family. We answer within two business days. Reports of abuse, scams or stolen funds are read first.
- X: @SignalFam. We post news there. We never send the first direct message, and we never ask for your key or recovery phrase.
When you write about a transaction, include your wallet address and the transaction hash. Never include your private key or recovery phrase: nobody at Signal will ever ask for them.
Report something
In the app, tap ... on any signal, reply, profile, message or token, then Report, and pick a reason: spam, scam, abuse, illegal, or other. You can add a note. The person you report is not told who reported them.
We review reports within 24 hours. Content that breaks the Terms is removed or hidden, and people who keep breaking them lose access to the community features. If you cannot use the app, email support@signal.family with a link or a screenshot.
If you see content that puts someone in danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Block someone
Open their profile, tap ..., then Block. You stop seeing their signals and replies, they cannot message you, and neither of you appears in the other's feeds. Unblock the same way. Blocking changes nothing on chain: their trades still count in prices and charts.
Delete your account
In the app: You > Settings > Delete account.
On the web: signal.family/account/delete. Sign in with your email, then confirm.
Can't sign in? Email support@signal.family from the address on your account. We will confirm it is yours and delete the account within 30 days.
Before you delete:
1. Move your funds out, or export your key. Deleting your account also deletes your sign-in account at Privy, which separates the embedded wallet from you. Getting it back is not guaranteed, and anything left in it may be lost.
2. Know what stays. The blockchain is public and permanent: your wallet address and its transactions stay visible to everyone. Our transaction ledger keeps its rows (without your IP address or browser, which are deleted after 30 days) because they prove which transactions Signal built.
What we delete: your username, avatar, signals, likes, follows, watchlist, settings, messages, sessions, and your sign-in account at Privy. Most of it goes at once; if something takes longer, the app shows it as pending and we finish within 30 days. Details are in the Privacy policy.
Your account and wallet
- Sign-in. Signal uses your email and a one-time code. There is no password.
- Your wallet. Signing in gives you a wallet created through Privy. Signal never sees its key and cannot move your funds. Whoever controls your email controls this wallet, so protect your email with a strong password and two-step verification.
- Exporting your key. You can export the key from Settings. Once exported, whoever holds it has everything in the wallet, and nothing Signal or Privy does can protect it. Only paste it into software you would trust with all of it.
- Lost access to your email? Without your email or an exported key, we cannot restore the wallet. Write to us and we will explain what is possible.
- Did Signal build this transaction? Paste the hash into the check on signal.family/security. A transaction with no ledger row was signed somewhere else.
- Something moved that you did not send? Stop using that key everywhere, move what is left to a fresh wallet, run the check above, then email us the wallet and the hash.
Stay safe
- Signal will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase, in chat, by email or on any page.
- Signal will never message you first about a prize, a refund or a "wallet check".
- Check the contract address, not the name. Copies of popular tokens use the same name and picture.
- Read the safety check on a token page. It is a warning, not a guarantee.
- Look at the full address before a first send. The app warns you when an address looks like one you used before but is not the same.
- Only use signal.family. Look-alike domains are scams.
- Start small with any new token. Many lose all their value, and on-chain transactions are final.
Not financial advice
Nothing on Signal is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Signals are the opinions of the people who post them. Holder payouts are rules in each token's contract, not promises from Signal, and they can stop or be zero. You can lose everything you put in.
