Signals and the leaderboard

A signal is a short public note on a token, signed by the wallet that holds it. It says what the poster thinks, and it carries the poster's own position, so everyone can see what happened next.

What makes a signal

  • At most 280 characters.
  • Signed by your wallet. The signature covers the words. No funds move.
  • Tied to your bag. You must hold the token to post about it. Your position at that moment goes on the signal.
  • Carries your @name. You need a claimed name to post. Claiming one is one signature.

Post one

Open the token's page, the Signals tab, Add your signal, write it, Sign and post. Or press Post a signal on the home page and pick the token.

Afterwards you can add an update (it sits on top of the signal), edit the words, or remove it. Each is one signature.

Others can reply under a signal. Replies follow the community rules: no hate, harassment, sexual content, scams or undisclosed paid promotion.

How a signal is scored

Each signal shows the token's market cap since it was posted: the entry market cap, the market cap now, and the peak between. That is a fact about the token, not a claim about profit.

Beside it is the poster's own position: what they paid against what it is worth now, sales included. If the poster no longer holds the token, the signal says "sold" or "holds none".

Where to read them

  • A token's Signals tab lists every Signal user who holds it, each with their position and their newest signal. Signals from people who have sold sit apart, below.
  • The home page has a Signals section (Today, Gaining, Recent).
  • The Desk has a Signals column.
  • A profile shows that person's signals.

Follow a trader and turn on alerts to have their signals and buys reach your notifications.

The leaderboard

Leaderboard ranks traders by profit and loss on HyperEVM, over 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or all time.

  • Only traders with a claimed @name appear. No bare wallets.
  • It counts profit taken on sales in the window plus the open value of what was traded in the window, at the last price, at average cost. Route hops and doubled prints are left out.
  • "est" marks an unrealized figure Signal could not fully check.
  • A note marks a trader whose result comes mostly from a coin they launched themselves.
  • It is recomputed about every five minutes.

Claim an @name to join it. The Rewards page has a second, separate board for points.

Profiles and sharing

Your profile (/u/<name>) shows your positions, signals, trades and launches. Share on a position makes a link that unfurls as a card with your estimated result. The figure is an estimate from indexed trades at average cost; it leaves out gas, rewards and transfers of unknown cost, and says so.
