Troubleshooting

The ticket will not buy

The ticket says why, and whether anything left your wallet. The common ones:

  • "Not buyable: failed the safety check": the token's safety check found that money put in may not come back out. Selling stays open.
  • "caution: … Tap buy again to accept": read the reason. A second tap buys.
  • "Opening fee N% right now": a new Signal v4 token is in its opening window. The fee falls to its base when the countdown ends. It applies to sales too.
  • A buy is refused in a token's first minutes or hours: the launch may have set a whale cap, an opening budget or Signal-only buys. Each ends by itself; the token's page shows the rule and its clock.
  • "Finding the best route…": Signal has not verified a route yet. The buttons open by themselves.

A token paired with another asset asks for that asset

A token that trades against something other than HYPE shows Pay with HYPE beside that asset where a HYPE route exists. If the ticket offers only the pair asset, buy that asset first from its own page, or use other chain to pay with money elsewhere.

A sale says "Nothing to sell into"

On a Signal v4 token, a sale is paid from the pair asset in the pool: buys add to it and sales take from it. A new token nobody has bought yet, or one whose buyers have already sold, has nothing to pay a seller with. It is not a block on selling: it changes with the next buy.

“Minimum received” looks enormous

That figure is the minimum output token quantity, not a minimum dollar spend. A low token unit price can produce millions of tokens from a small purchase. Compare it with the quoted output and your slippage setting.

“Wallet or trade settings changed”

The prepared request no longer matches the selected wallet, amount, route or settings. Refresh the quote and review again. Do not sign an older request merely because it remains open in the wallet.

An earlier trade may be pending

Look up the exact transaction hash in your wallet or a HyperEVM explorer. If confirmed, use its receipt; if reverted, a fresh quote may be needed. If still pending, use the wallet's supported recovery flow. A network error without a hash is not proof that a transaction was sent.

Never repeatedly retry an uncertain send without checking its transaction and nonce. Do not paste a private key into a recovery form.

I hold the token but see no rewards

First check that the token pays holders at all: many pay their creator or a burn instead, and the token's page says which. Then check whether it uses spot or perp rewards and whether your wallet held during the eligible period. Then distinguish accrued fees, conversion, funded batches, issued units and confirmed payments. A small or inactive token can remain below processing minimums.

The curve is full but no pool is open

Graduation may have been deferred while the final buy still succeeded. Look for Graduated, GraduationDeferred and the curve's current state. Full sale capacity does not prove successful pool seeding.

A price, entry or balance is unavailable

Keep unknown values distinct from zero. Indexed data can be delayed, partial or unpriced. Fetch time is not the time the underlying observation was made. For a specific transaction, inspect its confirmed receipt.

Report a problem

Use the support links on Signal. Include the chain, full token address, public wallet address if relevant, transaction hash, approximate time and the behavior you saw. Share sensitive security findings privately; do not include keys or seed phrases.
