Spot rewards

Spot rewards distribute the token's configured payout asset to eligible holders. They are funded by collected fees, not by a fixed yield promise.

This page describes holder rewards on Curve and Classic launches. A Signal v4 token that pays holders does it through the token itself: each time its fees are divided, the holders' part streams to holders over five minutes and each holder claims from the token's page. See Signal v4 launches.

For standard Curve tokens, a share of buy and sell taxes funds rewards in the pairing asset. HYPE-paired Curve payouts are WHYPE. Classic tokens have their own fee elections and payout routes; check the token rather than assuming all Signal tokens pay HYPE.

Why a payout can take time

Fees can pass through collection, conversion, ledger funding and wallet payment as separate steps. Processing thresholds, small balances, conversion liquidity and the payout queue affect timing. Holding a dollar amount for a number of hours does not establish that a payment is already due.

Wallet transfers are untaxed on the standard Curve token. A transfer to your wallet is not itself a reward-generating trade. Pools and other system accounts can be excluded from holder eligibility by the token's policy.

Check what was actually paid

Match the full token address, your wallet and the payout asset. A ledger credit, funded balance or queued conversion is not a confirmed payment. Payment receipts and their expected transfer or payout events establish delivery.

The public rewards view can be bounded or still catching up. A missing event in its recent window is not proof that no payment ever happened. Likewise, historical paid totals are not your current claimable balance.

If the token exposes a claim action, it collects eligible amounts already accounted for by that reward system. It does not force new fees to exist or bypass an unfinished conversion.
